Description
Front: The photograph is mounted on black mounting board. At the bottom is a white label which reads "San Gabriel Canyon 1900". The photograph is taken through a grove of trees, through which, in the distance, one can see more trees on the side of the opposing mountain wall of the canyon. Reverse: A label pasted to the back of the photograph reads: "San Gabriel Canyon (1900) / View from Upper Cienega / Taken by Samuel F. Pearson / (To Go To Pasadena Historical Society)"
