Two women are depicted in a wood. The woman on the left wears a bonnet with purple flowers and white ribbon. Her dress has long wide sleeves and a two-tiered skirt. The top is lavender and has black lace trimming in rows, almost covering the lavender. At her waist is a lavender belt. Her skirt has three rows of black lace stripes at the bottom of each tier. The woman on the right wears a white lace bonnet with pink flowers and green ribbon. Her dress has a two-tiered skirt edged in a floral pattern of pink and green on white. The dress is of a similar pattern of pink flowers and green leaves on white, with a wide mint green border at the hems of the tiers. Her dress is covered by a white lace shawl with a v-shaped hem coming to a point at the back, edged with a very wide ruffle.
