Bill Spaulding, coach of the Bruins, is seen in the middle of a group of his U.C.L.A. players telling them they must whip themselves into fighting trim after their long vacations. The Bruin mentor believes that his players are in excellent shape for the work ahead, and he's leaving no stones unturned in priming them for their opening game with Oregon two weeks from tonight in the Coliseum, when the Pacific Coast Conference schedule starts. Photo dated: September 13, 1937.
