Description
A typical scene in one of San Pedro's older sections as one starts going up the hill, as seen here at Weymouth and 9th Street. San Pedro is built on the east side of the hill, bounded by S. Western Avenue. The term "the hill" with a street reference is commonly used by the locals when giving directions or talking about where someone lives. Photograph dated May 2001.
