Photograph caption dated January 22, 1957 reads "B. W. Ross of Granada Hills checks layout of model monorail he built over miniature town in backyard of his Granada Hills home. Town took Ross 10 years to construct in his spare time. Neighbors and wife Mabel helped. Visitors donate to Granada Hills welfare fund."
