Photograph caption dated August 2, 1961 reads "Couple traces family tree back to biblical days - Mr. and Mrs. John De Yeiser list famous ancestors." A retired attorney, sound engineer, and Army Air Force veteran claims lineage as far back as the Pharaoh's daughter who pulled Moses from the river, including King Ferdinand III, namesake of the San Fernando Valley.
