Photograph caption dated September 25, 1957 reads, "Gene Autry, probably better known for his guitar than his six shooters, is surrounded by youngsters from Arlington, Calif., Girls Town before rodeo time at Los Angeles County Fair at Pomona. Cowboy Autry is headlined at Western rodeo which will continue daily until fair closes Sunday evening."
