When Owens River plant no. 2 is completed next fall, water from the Owens River will flow through the 92-inch penstock on the hill above, down into this Y-branch. When channeled through the right fork, the water will turn the rotor on the generator to produce the electrical power. Photo date: June 20, 1951.
