Description
This circa 1917 postcard shows K Street as seen looking westerly from roughly Ninth Street. Prominent are the Federal Building and Post Office at the corner of Seventh and K streets. Also visible are the Hales Deparment Store and the Clunie Theater. On the back of the card, one can find the following fact: "Sacramento County ships nearly seventy per cent of the green deciduous fruit of the State."
