At center, a streetcar with a sign that reads "Boyle Hts" makes its way along one of two sets of tracks in the narrow dirt street. At left, horse-drawn carts line the sidewalk. To either side, four-story commercial buildings encapsulate the scene. Visible buildings include: the Chamber of Commerce Building, City Hall, Mason Opera House. Legible signs include: "Allan Hunter, Eagle Stables", "Gilt eggs & butter", "Homer Laughlin, absolutely"..., "H.L. Smith, contractor", ..."Merchant's Trust Co."..., and "C.H. Frost Building".
