Description
Pacific Electric Railway streetcar no. 5011 at Hollycrest station in the median of Highway 101 (Hollywood Freeway) in Cahuenga Pass, on the Van Nuys line.
"10-12-52 Pacific Electric 5011 Mulholland Hwy"--text, handwritten in pencil on housing, but this appears to be Cahuenga Pass, not Mulholland Highway. (See related image.) Title devised by cataloger based on similar images. The Pacific Electric Railway system of electric streetcars and rail was also known as the Red Car system.
