Photograph article dated April 30, 1964 partially reads "Alternately smiling and bitter, dethroned heavyweight champion Sonny Liston told a sports fan meeting Wednesday he felt he was entitled to a return fight with champion Cassius Clay...'Would you be willing to fight Eddie Machen?' Liston was asked. 'Sure, Machen runs faster than Clay,' Liston said." Machen and Liston had met previously in the ring in 1960, with Liston defeating Machen.
