Description
This recreation report for the City of Sacramento was approved by the City Council on December 12, 1929. The plan was compiled with assistance of Bartholomew and Associates of Saint Louis, Missouri, in collaboration with Sacramento's City Planning Commission. The plan outlines an aggressive effort by Sacramento to address the beautification of the city. Plans include the development of parks, swimming pools, tennis courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, children's playgrounds onsite at elementary schools, and scenic drives for the residents of Sacramento.
