"Eye-catching as well as sun-catching are the large solar panels atop a new solar training facility established in Sacramento by the Solar Training Institute of the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Industry ... some 25 to 30 students participate in each weeklong course. It is one of six facilities nationwide established to provide instruction in solar technology and solar system installation techniques to sheet metal instructors and contractors ... Funding for the training facilities comes in part from a $1.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy, with contributions of materials and personnel from the sheet metal industry ..."
