Description
Photograph article dated November 18, 1961 partially reads, "It's a long way home when you live in Beirut, Lebanon. But Lina Hadj, 18-year-old Lebanese student at Valley College, feels right at home here...Miss Hadj is in the United States 'on my own' and lives with her aunt at 3706 Wrightwood Dr., North Hollywood...At Valley she is starting to teach a small group international folk dances. In Lebanon she was a member of the Lebanese Folk Dance Group, which will soon make a tour in this country."
