Union Traction's car No. 16 on Water Street. The three slats along the side were supposed to prevent unwary pedestrians from falling into the wheels and the slat wood basket under the end was designed to scoop up anybody falling down in front of the approaching car. Sign at top of car reads "Laveaga Heights."
