Description
Directors of the Sacramento Chamber of Commerce visit the site of Sacramento's new one million dollar post office and federal building on I Street between Eighth and Ninth streets. Those in the photograph from left to right are: Edward Flanders of Starks & Flanders (architects); N. R. Taylor, United States meteorologist; Leonard F. Starks of Starks & Flanders; Postmaster Harold J. McCurry; C. N. Franklin, resident construction engineer for the federal government; Mayor C. H. S. Bidwell; H. Robinson, timekeeper, checker and paymaster for the Severin Company (general contractors); Harold J. Thielen, president of the Chamber of Commerce, and Fred I. Martin, a director of the chamber.
