Photograph caption dated March 23, 1956 reads, "Sonny Cibene, right, was a surprise winner in the quarter mile yesterday for North Hollywood as Husky teammate Bryant Hanke made up plenty of ground to move into second place just ahead of San Fernando High's Dick Barrett who isn't shown in picture. This one-two finish helped North Hollywood open its bid for the Valley League dual meet title by beating San Fernando, 68-36."
