Typed caption on back: "CUTLINE: #5 91-71 (B) Public Relations ALLIS-CHALMERS Milwaukee, Wis. 53201 Pickering's 50-year-old monorail and some four miles of overhead rail are being phased out. Maintenance is expensive, replacement parts difficult to obtain. (Above) Monograil en route from dry sorting shed. The east wall of the shed is being converted into a series of sideloader bays, where lumber will be accumulated by grade from the extended dry chain. (Below) A load creaks around a turn."
