Photograph caption dated October 20, 1964 reads, "The romantic strains of Schumann's 'Night Song' filled the brisk evening air. The Valley's Committee On The Arts (C.O.T.A.) orchestra and choir were rehearsing for this Saturday's concert in San Fernando Junior High School auditorium at 130 N. Brand Blvd. To anyone approaching the school during rehearsals this week, the sound was pleasant. It held a plaintive reminder that summer was over, but a compensating announcement that fall and a brand new music season, packed with excitement and melody, is here." Pictured are three unidentified choir members during rehearsals.; See images #00127728 through #00127730 for all photos in this series.
