Description
Naval undress uniform tunic with an eagle and three red stripes on the right arm, one red stripe on the left forearm, two buttons on each cuff, a pocket on the left breast and a flap of fabric hanging behind the neck from the collar lapels. The buttons each have an anchor symbol imprinted on them. A label underneath the back lapel reads, "Manufactured By Naval Clothing Company," and has a line for the sailor to write his name and his rate. The inside hemline on the bottom of the tunic is stamped twice with: Nelson R. J., and the back collar is stamped with initials: R.J.N.
