Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Opened on June 10, 1938 by the Hollywood Turf Club, Hollywood Park was renamed Betfair Hollywood Park on March 13, 2012. It was a thoroughbred and standardbred race course. The racetrack was closed after the final race on December 22, 2013. Photograph caption dated October 2, 1961 reads "The pacers and trotters will be off and rolling tomorrow when the Western Harness Association opens its 35-day meeting at Hollywood Park. Post time daily will be 12:30 p.m. and daily double wagering will be held on the first two races." Hollywood Park is in Inglewood.
