Description
"Freedom Train West" passengers are welcomed after a trip from New Orleans. There are 16 "displaced-by-invitation" Blacks greeted by about 250 welcomers, including the Hollywood/Beverly Hills branch of the N.A.A.C.P. and the media. Photo date: May 3, 1962.
