The article partially reads, "A Van Nuys mother of seven shot her former husband four times Wednesday night as he tried to force his way into her home, police said....Mrs. Case, whose divorce from Case became final last May, said Case had removed a piece of plywood nailed over a small opening in the door, and had crawled half way into the home when she opened fire with a 6.35 Italian automatic....Case had been sought on a warrant charging him with failing to provide for his seven children, ranging in age from 3 to 14, police said. They said he had been arrested four times on suspicion of wife beating."
