Photograph of the exterior view of the Hayward Hotel, on the corner of Spring Street and Sixth Street, Los Angeles, ca.1910. The eight-story building features a cantilever projecting from the walls just below the roof. A set of fire escape ladder wells run down the building (center) near the corner of the building. Pedestrians can be seen walking along the sidewalks and crossing the streets. Streetcar tracks line the streets. Legible signs include: "[...] whiskey", "H.B.
