Description
Dion Boucicault writes to Henry Colburn, publisher of the New Monthly. Boucicault tells Colburn he would be glad to take the vacant Editorship at the magazine if Colburn is open to his services. Boucicault's object is, "not at present, pecuniary," though he does "not loose sight of that entirely." Letter bears a wax seal, a postage stamp, and several other stampings, some of which are faded.
