View of one of many steel frames under construction that will eventually become part of the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The Walt Disney Concert Hall was completed in the fall of 2003, and officially opened its doors on October 23rd of the same year. The 2,265-seat concert hall cost an estimated $274 million, including the parking garage, which in itself was estimated to have cost between $90 million to $110 million. The architect for this project was Frank Gehry. It serves as the official home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. Photo dated: 2001.
