Description: Photo caption published by the Sacramento Bee on January, 21, 1969: "Traffic had to be detoured around an earth and tree slide on Interstate 5 near O'Brien, Shasta County, about 3 p.m. yesterday. The slide destroyed about 50 feet of a metal guardrail as earth and debris trembled down the hill."
