Photograph caption dated October 31, 1960 reads, "Ernest Lee Hicks, 9-year-old muscular dystrophy victim of 33316 N. Eastern Ave., Mint Canyon, Saugus, who was chosen as the 1960 Poster Child for the California MD fund-raising drive, visits Jerry Lewis at Paramount Studios. Jerry is national chairman of the Muscular Dystrophy Associations of America and will join Ernest in 1960 March for MD in Southern California Dec. 1 through 4."
