Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Lana Turner and Henry J. Topping married on April 26, 1948 at the Bel Air estate of "The Hollywood Reporter" publisher William R. Wilkerson, the man who discovered Turner at a drive-in on Sunset Boulevard sipping on a coke. Topping would be Turner's third husband and fourth marriage (Turner was twice married to her second husband, Stephen Crane). Their marriage lasted until December 12, 1952. Photograph caption dated April 27, 1948 reads, "Left to right: best man W.R. 'Billy' Wilkerson; bride Lana; Rev. S. P. MacLennan; groom Topping' matron of honor Sara Hamilton."
