Lana Turner and Henry J. Topping married on April 26, 1948 at the Bel Air estate of "The Hollywood Reporter" publisher William R. Wilkerson, the man who discovered Turner at a drive-in on Sunset Boulevard sipping on a coke. Topping would be Turner's third husband and fourth marriage (Turner was twice married to her second husband, Stephen Crane). Their marriage lasted until December 12, 1952.
