Photograph of the exterior of Washington Grammar School in Visalia, 1900-1940. The front of the three-story brick building is visible at center at an angle. A few stairs lead under three arches in the center, while a star-shape is visible towards the roof near a decorative top edge of the building. Two towers with three arches on each face are visible on the left and right sides of the roof. Windows are visible on each story in groups of two or three. A sidewalk runs from right to the stairs, while a small palm tree is visible to the left of the sidewalk. A flag pole is visible at right, while grass and dirt are visible in the foreground.
