Photograph of Santa Monica Boulevard looking west from Western Avenue, ca.1927. Automobiles can be seen driving in the street, as well as parked along the sidewalk. Featured prominently in the right of the photograph is the two-story office of a branch of the Security Trust and Savings Bank. A network of cables are stretched above the street, and cable car tracks are visible embedded in the roads.
