Photograph caption dated November 16, 1964 reads "Posture parade. Marines invaded the Melvin Avenue School, 7700 Melvin Ave., Reseda, last week to give the kids a taste of patriotism and posture. Wheeling about, each class, in left photo, demonstrates how well they have learned the lesson at hand. It's not bad, the judges agree, and they have a difficult time resolving their verdict. And then, sixth graders, right photo (pictured), give an energetic demonstration on how to keep fit through exercise to the tune of 'Chicken Fat' by Meredith Wilson."
