Photograph caption dated September 1, 1964 reads "The potential starting lineup for the University of Southern California lined up for the camera yesterday as football coach Johnny McKay presided over USC's press day. From left to right the line: end John Tomas [sic], tackle Chuck Arrobio, guard Bill Fisk, center Hudson Houck, guard Frank Lopez, tackle Bob Svihus and end Dave Moton. Backs: halfback Gary Hill, fullback Ron Heller, quarterback Craig Fertig and halfback Mike Garrett. Trojans open the season in the Coliseum Sept. 18 against Colorado."
