The Downtown Home Expositions involved merchants showing displays of complete homes, furnished rooms and displays of flowers.
Photograph caption dated October 28, 1947 reads "Mary Decker and interesting patio lamp, one of modern items featured at Downtown Home Expositions." Decker is shown in an outdoor setting, next to a lamp on a pedestal, a plant wrapped around part of the pedestal, the top of the lamp is an open basket weave in a square shape.
