Firemen play water on the smouldering wreckage of a wooden and canvas structure on the back lot at Twentieth Century-Fox studios after the film set was destroyed by fire. Damage was estimated at $100,000. Studio officials said the fire started during some process shots for the picture, "Deep Water," for which the backing was painted to resemble the coast of Maine. It was formerly used in depicting background for a London fire in "Forever Amber." Photo dated: October 15, 1947.
