Information on verso of the image reads, "Occupied after moving from 3rd and Hill. Rossmore Hotel on right, built by Allen Hancock's mother. On left, home occupied by Mr. Pomeroy."
Exterior view of the third location of the First Congregational Church, located at Third & Hill streets.; Two lots for the church building were purchased for $52,000 in 1889. When the church was sold in 1905, the building alone was worth $76,000.
