Photograph caption dated February 13, 1965 reads, "The Torahs at Valley Beth Shalom have never been guarded better. The vast heritage of thousands of years of worship are represented in the massive strength of the gates that ornament the sanctuary." The article partially reads, "Valley Beth Shalom Temple, 15739 Ventura Blvd., Encino, recently completed one of the most ambitious building projects ever undertaken by a Valley congregation. Early this year a $1.25 million addition was added to the original synagogue."; See images #00123823 through #00123825 for all photos in this series.
