Photograph caption dated September 18, 1964 reads, "High fashion fabrics and foods for fall will be featured in a Los Angeles Department of Water and Power program from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Van Nuys Electric Living Center, 6550 Van Nuys Blvd. Participating in the program will be, from left, Joyce Champion, home economist for U.S. Borax, who will give tips and techniques on better and easier care for all of the clothing in the family wardrobe; DWP home economists Dorothy Newton and Jan Singler, who will demonstrate foods, color coordinated to high fashion fall fabrics."
