Photograph caption dated June 15, 1979 reads, "Robyn Hamilton holds daughters, Sarah, right, and Ahnn at the Alliance for Survival anti-nuclear protest yesterday in front of the Los Angeles Convention Center. The demonstration was held to protest the University of California's involvement in nuclear weapons research, testing and design. The group demanded that the university sever all ties with the Lawrence Livermore and Los Alamos laboratories, which design nuclear warheads, and termination of weapons work at the labs."
