Description: New York: The trial of black militant leader H. Rap Brown, shown in this 1968 photo, begins 1/15 in N.Y. State Supreme Court after 13 months of court delays. Brown and three other defendants are charged with robbery and attempted murder during a holdup attempt at a west side Manhattan bar in 1971.
