Soviet poster dedicated to celebration of May Day (in the USSR, it was known as the May 1st Holiday). Caption reads, "Погляди: поет и пляшет вся Советская страна... Нет тебя светлей и краше, наша красная весна! / Pogliadi: poet i pliashet bsia Sovetskaia strana... Net tebia svetlei i krashe, nasha krasnaia vesna!", meaning, "Look -- the entire Soviet country is singing and dancing... There's nothing more cheerful and beautiful than our red spring!".
