Description
"Awaiting men's call." "Some of the 19,000 flood refugees in Tsinan, Provided for by Shantung Government, in the winter of 1935-36. Sanitation and medical care was in the hands of the staff of Cheeloo Medical College." [now Jinan] [now Shandong] A long line of children, with a few adults standing behind them, stand outside the dining hall. Half the children in line are holding bowls of rice, while the other half are in line for their food.
Cheeloo Medical College was associated with Shantung Christian University [now Qi Lu da xue.]
