Photograph caption dated June 25, 1955 reads "Juvenile officer W. J. Kelly, of Valley division, examines bottle that came crashing through his patrol car window while he was investigating bottle-breaking 'riot' by some 30 Valley teenagers at Kewen and Pierce streets. Youngsters were jailed, later released to their parents."
