Photograph caption dated September 20, 1955 reads, "The signing on Sept. 17, 1787, of the greatest document in world history - the Constitution of the United States - was re-enacted here today as part of Constitution Week observance. Dressed in full colonial costumes, 12 participants signed the Constitution at Board of Supervisors meeting. Judge William B. McKesson, foreground, plays the role of Benjamin Franklin."
