Photograph article dated January 15, 1963 partially reads, "A Van Nuys woman picketed Valley College in Van Nuys Monday in an attempt to get the Los Angeles Board of Education to hold an open hearing on her charges that her grades were unfairly lowered. Mrs. Toni Roberts, who attended the school from September 1960, to January 1962, said she will continue to picket the school until the hearing is granted...Mrs. Roberts said nine of the 12 grades she received while attending the school were unfair and that one teacher created a condition which made it impossible to take her final."
