View is looking northeast towards the Fine Arts Building, 811 West Seventh Street. Rising twelve stories to the height limit of Los Angeles, this structure, intended to house workers in the fine and applied arts, was clothed in standard-finish tera-cotta because the architects regarded that medium as the ideal interpreter of their purpose. Date built: 1925. Architects: Walker & Eisen.
