Photograph caption dated July 20, 1956 reads, "Veteran actor Walter Brennan crowns Margie Simmons, 20, left, senior queen and Judy Garrett, 13, junior queen of Northridge Stampede during coronation dinner at Northridge Women's Club. Girls will reign over annual celebration July 28 which will include parade, barbecue and entertainment. Event is sponsored by Northridge Kiwanis Club."
