Description: Engine #48 pulling a special train for the press for the first run of the Mill Valley & Mt. Tamalpais Scenic Railway. The train is about to leave downtown Mill Valley near Throckmorton Avenue. A large crowd stands around the train. Note on back of photo: "Our old office used to be where the engine stands early". Author of note unknown.
